The growth of the Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo Europe has been remarkable. Brad Gibson, global business director at Lord said it best after attending the 2019 trade fair. “It’s been amazing. We’ve been a part of this since its inception, and we’ve watched it grow from only 50 people displaying [merchandise] all the way up to this year, where it is now sold out.”
The 2020 expo, from 28-30 April, stands to be the biggest yet, with over 100 more exhibitors than last year and a second hall to explore at the Messe Stuttgart. It’s co-located with The Battery Show Europe, and together the events present the opportunity for 10,000-plus battery manufacturing and automotive professionals to meet with over 550 suppliers and learn about the latest technology and industry innovations.
They will also be able to gain high-quality education and to network with peers, leaders and visionaries at this, the leading meeting place for the industry. Exhibitors at the free trade fair will range from start-ups to industry leaders such as 3M, Valeo and Continental.
One of the main attractions is the three-day educational conference that runs alongside the trade show, which will feature speakers from top manufacturers who will be covering topics crucial to every stage of the advanced battery supply chain, as well as the latest advances in EV technology.
“It’s a very solid baseline for what’s next in terms of technology implementations around EVs,” said Andrea Dolfi, global technology manager for engine fluids and motorsport at Petronas Lubricants Italy. View the website for discounted rates.
