Bucher will present a trio of advanced e-mobility solutions at The Battery Show Europe 2025, each designed to address critical needs in the electric vehicle and commercial transport sectors. Their HW012 Upgrade Mobile Converter/Inverter Platform stands out as a next-generation solution, delivering robust cyber-security features to protect vehicle systems in an increasingly connected world. This platform is fully backward compatible, allowing for straightforward integration into existing vehicle architectures and reducing the complexity of upgrades for manufacturers and fleet operators. Optional performance enhancements are available to further increase efficiency, supporting the industry’s drive for longer range and lower energy consumption. The HW012 is engineered to handle wide DC voltage ranges and offers secondary outputs for various subsystems, making it suitable for both light and heavy-duty applications.

Bucher’s latest cable and connector systems will also be on display, engineered for safety, reliability, and performance in high-voltage environments. These solutions incorporate advanced finger protection to ensure user safety during installation and maintenance. The connectors feature excellent electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) shielding, supporting reliable operation even in demanding commercial settings. Their robust construction offers resistance to vibration and moisture, making them ideal for use in buses, trucks, and other commercial vehicles. Backward compatibility ensures these connectors can be integrated into existing platforms without difficulty, while the modular design allows for rapid assembly and simplified maintenance. These features collectively address the growing demand for dependable, high-current connections as the electrification of vehicle fleets accelerates.

The xPTO system solution is Bucher’s answer to the increasing need for efficient and sustainable auxiliary power in e-trucks, particularly those with trailers or specialized superstructures. The xPTO system is engineered to deliver maximum performance and operational safety, providing a reliable energy supply for applications such as refrigeration units, hydraulic systems, or other electrically powered implements. The system supports both AC and DC outputs, enabling flexible integration with a wide range of auxiliary equipment. Features like negative bypass control contribute to smoother, quieter operation compared to traditional PTO systems, enhancing both efficiency and user experience. The xPTO system is a key enabler for zero-emission operations in commercial vehicles, ensuring that electrified fleets can maintain full functionality without compromising on sustainability goals.

With these innovations, Bucher demonstrates a clear commitment to advancing e-mobility technology. Their focus on security, compatibility, and operational efficiency positions them as a valuable partner for OEMs and fleet operators navigating the transition to electrified transport. Visitors to The Battery Show Europe will have the opportunity to see these solutions in action and discuss their deployment with Bucher’s technical experts.
