M obility is in a state of flux, and new offerings are expanding the mobility mix in the city as well as the countryside. New mobility carriers, technologies and players such as start- ups are appearing on the scene. The IAA takes this into account. From 7 to 12 September, the international mobility industry will meet in Munich. At the IAA Mobility Summit, you can find out about the world’s latest innovations and get an overview of the mobility concepts of the future. In addition to renowned vehicle manufacturers, suppliers, start-ups and leading companies from the tech and IT industries will present innovative solutions and products at the summit. Around 500 companies will be participating in the summit, including Bosch, BMW, Huawei, Magna, Mercedes-Benz, Schaeffler Technologies and Volkswagen. The focus will be on mobility solutions of all kinds, from autonomous vehicles to bikes and e-scooters, and sharing possibilities for innovative models for local public transport. In addition to admission to the exhibition halls, ticket-holders will be able to take part in the IAA Mobility Conference. Speakers from the vehicle manufacturing, supply, start-up, tech and IT industries will present trends and visions for mobility of the future. I t has been some time, but in-person events are finally back! The Battery Show and Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo Europe returns to Stuttgart from 30 November to 2 December for three jam-packed days of activity. Industry professionals from across the battery and H/EV supply chain attend the co-located events to forge new relationships with top manufacturers and suppliers, get a look at the latest technologies up close, and learn from thought leaders at the two- track expert-led conference. Explore the show floor this year with a complimentary expo pass and meet more than 450 exhibiting suppliers and manufacturers, from trailblazing start- ups to industry giants. The exhibitor list includes the likes of DuPont, Ricardo and Eaton. What’s more, there will be all sorts of innovations to discover at the new product showcases. The conference programme features decision-makers from Audi, Jaguar Land Rover and Renault to name a few, and will explore topics such as the development of EV architectures, with OEMs sharing their latest developments in e-motors, inverters, and powertrain systems. Manufacturers will also share their plans for closed-loop EV battery manufacturing, recycling and reuse. Super-early-bird rates are currently available until 24 September.
